The Pittsburgh Steelers released James Harrison, a five-time Pro Bowl linebacker, after the two sides could not agree on a more salary cap-friendly deal. ¶ The Jets re-signed linebacker Josh Mauga to a one-year contract. Mauga, a key backup and special teams performer, missed 11 games last season with a torn pectoral muscle.
