Los Angeles Kings fans took pictures of the Stanley Cup as it was carried into Staples Center before the Kings' season opener Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks. During a pregame ceremony, the Kings raised a banner commemorating their championship last season. The Blackhawks spoiled the party, however, with a 5-2 victory.
