Captaintreacherous was voted the pacer of the year after a campaign of 8 wins in 10 races in 2012. He becomes the first 2-year-old in 25 years to win the award. Among his victories were the Metro Pace at Mohawk in Ontario and the Woodrow Wilson at the Meadowlands.
