Chicago kicker Robbie Gould will miss the rest of the season after injuring his left calf, another blow to the stumbling Bears with a big N.F.C. North showdown coming up Sunday against Green Bay. The Bears have signed the veteran kicker Olindo Mare, 39, to a one-year contract.

¶ Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy returned to practice and could be active when Philadelphia hosts Cincinnati on Thursday night. Both players have been sidelined by concussions since November. Vick would return in a backup role; the rookie quarterback Nick Foles has been named the starter for the rest of the season.
