Trying to turn around his career, the Dodgers' Carl Crawford has been swinging a bat for a few weeks and was throwing up to 90 feet at the start of camp. He had elbow surgery in January 2012 and Tommy John elbow reconstruction surgery last season.

Injuries, inconsistency and the pressure of playing in Boston prompted the outfielder to question why he had left Tampa Bay to sign with the Red Sox for $142 million and seven years.

"You hear a lot of talk about how I just wanted money," said Crawford, who was traded to the Dodgers last year. "At some point, you just wondered if you made the right decision."

Crawford feels as if he has a second chance to show he can be a great player. "Coming from over there to here is definitely a different feel," he said.
