Danny Green scored a career-high 25 points, and the San Antonio Spurs spoiled Dirk Nowitzki's season debut with a 129-91 rout of the visiting Dallas Mavericks on Sunday night.
Tony Parker had 18 points and Kawhi Leonard added 17 for the Spurs (21-8). Darren Collison scored 15 points to lead Dallas (12-16).
After missing the Mavericks' first 27 regular-season games, Nowitzki entered with 6 minutes 28 seconds left in the first quarter. Nowitzki, who had surgery on his right knee Oct. 19, finished with 8 points and 6 rebounds in 20 minutes.
KINGS 108, TRAIL BLAZERS 96 Marcus Thornton scored 18 of his 22 points in the second half to lift host Sacramento (9-18) over Portland. The former Blazer Travis Outlaw had a season-high 15 points. LaMarcus Aldridge had 22 points for the Blazers (13-13).
CLIPPERS 103, SUNS 77 Blake Griffin scored 23 points to lead Los Angeles in its rout over host Phoenix. The reserve Jamal Crawford added 22 points for the Clippers (21-6), who have won 13 straight games. Jared Dudley scored 19 points for the Suns (11-17).
JAZZ 97, MAGIC 93 Paul Millsap scored 18 points, Gordon Hayward added 17 and Utah (15-14) survived a late rally to slip past host Orlando. The Magic (12-15) cut the lead to 1 in the waning seconds but came up empty at the foul line. Arron Afflalo had 20 points to lead Orlando.
